For my previous PET scans (in Dec 2010 and May 2011) they found haziness in the lungs, and wanted to go back for a CAT scan of the lungs. That, thank goodness, has been resolved. I got an all clear this time! Now, if I could only stop the worrying and obsessing when I go in to have tests run........I'm working very hard to stay in the present moment and be grateful for where I am.

Really great. Getting the all clear and good is what we all want and wish for others. We too hate the PET's and the waiting that goes with them and all other scans. Guess we will always worry and be nervous about the outcomes. You have had a couple of great results in a row now, may it continue always. Congratulations. Tammy

Its the horror of what we have endured that makes us afraid to consider ever repeating any of it again. Congrats on your all clear!!!! Wishing you many more great scans in the future! And Celebrating wildly news such as "all clear" is also human! Enjoy.

Even though very few know the terror that comes with each re-check, likewise, very few are privy to that unbridled elation that comes with the "all clear". We live an existence of extremes and are fully immersed in the appreciation and celebration of having another day. Not to say that I don't have my "down" times but when all is totaled I put it in the "plus" column.
