Once the pain went I never really thought about it until I noticed my back in the mirror, the skin discolouration has gotten much worse, a dark brown, but no pain. Ive seared the threads for this & cant find anything so was just wondering if anyone else had had this or had any idea of what it is?

Maybe the table you were on created a problem with your back. For me, I was very uncomfortable and had a wedge placed under my knees. If I had to lie flat, I wasnt able to as I have arthritis in my lower back. Was there something you were laying on that bothered your back?
This next idea may be a bit far fetched, but I will throw it out there and you can think about your treatments. When I went thru radiation, I had a spot on the lower back of my head where the radiation exited my body. It ended up being a bald spot about the size of a quarter. Is it possible that the angle of your radiation would have made it exit your body thru your lower back?
At least you are not in pain. Thankyou I hadn't thought if that, I have my checkup next week so I will ask, although my doctors response is normally " it's been over a year you should be fine now"!!!

Im one who always tries to figure things out. You never know the unusual angles they could zap someone from the top of their head down ending someplace other than their head. I figured I would throw that idea out there and see what others would say. I really think it could be related to how the patient is placed on that tiny little table. I know I was very uncomfortable and it bothered my back a great deal.
PJ... It can take a full 2 years for a person to fully recover from something as traumatic as chemo and radiation. Your body has been thru the war and rebuilding it is a long process.
I wish you all the best. Please let us know what your doc says net week about your back.
Be well!!!!

Main thing is that its nothing to worry about, Ive just got to keep an eye on it, record it & if it get worse to go back!
Thankyou for your thoughts
