I went to my ENT today for a checkup. The last visit he hurt my left ear so much he thought I was going to swing. Naw, that's his job to me. The tube is still in that ear but he says coming gradually out. I've heard that before. Anyway, my left eradrum now is punctured and is the reason my hearing is mostly gone for this reason. I also had a hearing test performed and it shows that my hearing is really bad and mostly in the left ear . I would bet this loss happened on my last visit. But it's too late to cry about it. My next Dr visit is in Pittasburgh at UPMC to discuss removing my complete lower jaw after they lower my stomache back to it's former home so a feeding tube can be put in me. Good luck my friends.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.

Hi Jim:
Just got back on line because of tornadoes here/Alabama, and read you latest post. It sounds like you are trying to break some sort of record on the Forum LOL; seriously, you know I hate that you're having this latest ear problem, and have the other crap to deal with. I am thankful that you are the tough guy you are and will come through all of this just fine. You can do it because you have before. My prayers are always with you and will continue to be.

Sandy, I am supposed to go the 23rd of May. This is to discuss their moving my stomache back down where it used to live. I'm just smiling at this one. Then they intend on putting a feeding tube in in case my jaw breaks. Heck, my jaw hasn't really gotten any thinner and this has me thinking I can survive this way. But I will keep the Appt..
