| Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 128 Senior Member (100+ posts) | OP Senior Member (100+ posts) Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 128 | hello, dad developed thrush on back of tongue, only portion he has left, and the doctor only put him on it for 5 days, because he had to stop the cumadin while on this med.. he completed the medication for the thrush on sunday, about 2-3days ago and it seems to have gone down, no pain on tongue, but still wait.. normal? just curious...

I believe I have had it about once a year since end of Tx.

Jun 07, back to riding my bike 100 miles a wk. Now doing 12 Spin classes and 60 outdoor miles per wk. Nov 13 completed Hilly Century ride for Cancer, 104 miles, 1st Place in my age group. Apr 2014 & 15, Spun for 9 straight hrs to raise $$ for YMCA's Livestrong Program. Certified Spin Instructor Jun 2014.

It's anti bacteria, anti infection, andi inflammatory! Works like a dream! Good luck...

| | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 128 Senior Member (100+ posts) | OP Senior Member (100+ posts) Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 128 | hello, i think what my dad is more concerned about is the face that he was on the Dilfucan for 5 days and is off now and the thrush is still present, not as bad but still there.. he does not eat any foods by mouth yet, just the G-tube.. he is on the comudin, so the two together are not good, so he had to get off the cumadin for those 5days.. of course when he seen the white in his mouth he immediately went into panic, which i am sure you can all relate to! after all this! treatments last year, and big surgery december 2010, what now?  .. thank you all for your responses!

Would you mind telling me where it was to began with and where the re-occur happened after the chemo-rads? Maybe I shouldn't hear it. I'm 9 treatments away from finishing my rads and chemo.
