Don't get down now...I know it sucks to be sick, but it's all part of trying to kill any extra cancer. Once your done - you may be sick a little longer... Usually a couple of weeks as radiation continues to work for a few weeks after you've stopped. I am on a similar treatment plan... But am 2 weeks behind you... My chemo is a larger dose in 3 shots. But my radiation is the same 33. My cancer was tongue cancer with a spread to one lymph node. I know it's hard, but try to eat or get your calories in, it will help you heal, and regain your strength, as will taking In your fluids. Do you have a peg tube?
Best of luck you can do it.

It's an incredibly tough journey but you will get through it and out the other side. I remember so well when we were at the stages you are both at and thinking the end of treatment seemed so far away. But it does come and eventually you will start to feel better again. Rest as much as you can. Sleep is the bodies way of healing itself. Get lots of nutrition and hydration. Staying hydrated really helped Steve with the nausea that always followed the chemo.
You are both in my thoughts.

The rad and chemo burns have been getting worse daily for 4 years, but you know what... I am ALIVE and being the normal ornery JIM. Just don't give up and think positive. It's well worth whatever you go thru to be here.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw.
