Hello to all on the site. Hope is a powerful thing, especially coupled with prayer and vigilant self care. At least for me. I want to wish everyone a HEALTHY & Happy Holiday season. I will not let illness, mine or someone else's, get the best of me today. When I feel terribly down from all of the consequences of cancer, I try to lift myself out of it with a return to gratitude. I have strong hopes that I will be cancer free for a long time and that should I have another recurrence, it will be dealt with swiftly, and I will not die from this awful disease.
Merry Christmas!
Love,
Gerry

I woke up this morning with a big smile on face, thinking,
'Yay, it's Christmas Eve, so it means I should actually make it through Christmas'.
It's 11 months since my first symptoms and at one point I didn't think I would make it through the summer.
So Christmas is definitely a bonus!
Hope you all have a good one as well!

To all,

The mental aspect of our fight is at least 50% of the battle. You all have a strong and healthy attitude that will be most beneficial in defeating this horrid disease. Like many before you, you will get thru this and you will be better for the small price you pay. Stay focused and stay tough and your journey will be better.

Happy Holidays with plenty more to come.
