Hello All,

My name is Michelle and I have spent many hours reading and learning on the OCF Forum. Today, after nine months of what all of you know is -- at best -- an incredibly difficult journey, my father has been deemed cancer free! My Dad was diagnosed with stage IV SSC of his pharynx with lymph node involvement in early Feb 07. He recieved induction chemotherapy and 7 weeks of radiation. Today I brought him to hear the results of his PET scan. We learned that he has no detectable cancer in his body!

Today is a very, very, very good day!!!

Thank you all for all of your guidance and help.... I have only posted once or twice, but have been present here for my dad's journey.

I know that this disease is insideous and that perhaps it will rear it's ugly head again, but for today.... I am very happy.

I want to share this news with all of you because you have helped me through some very dark days. Thank you.

Michelle
