Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 12 | I have had a flap for 8 years and burned it several times with pizza, etc. No feeling in the flap. Looks angry but heals in a couple of weeks. Really little different than a skin burn. Recently had a bump the size of a candy corn.. Was a granuloma caused by my Crohn's disease. Rarely a flap gets cancer.
