I have 7 more RT treatments left, for the past week I have had to deal with nasal passages being stopped up and when I use tissue there is blood. Is this from the RT treatments? I use a a warm air humidifier, and something to keep my passages moist..does not help. Any suggestions?

Your air is probably dry ours and others that have to heat their homes during winter. You need a humidifier for sure. Keep one near your bedroom door for the moisture. I put 17 pints a day of water into mine. It makes a difference in your nostrils .
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. I have and typically its cause becuase the veins in the nostrils are too close to the surface. Noseblleds are greatly exacerbated in low humidity conditions which can be caused my HVAC or dry environmental conditions.

I have and typically its caused because the veins in the nostrils are too close to the surface. Nosebleeds are greatly exacerbated in low humidity conditions which can be caused my HVAC or dry environmental conditions, cold weather, dry heat etc.. A cold type humidifer will help as well as rubbing a light coat of vasoline on the inside of the nostrils. Other moisterizers may work better, I personally don't use them because they also interfere with sense of smell. I put up with the nosebleeds...
