Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 60 | Talked to my R/O after I got my 3 month PET scan to check me out/he said everything looked good. Yesterday I got a call/they want to do a CAT to check out some "haziness" in lungs. Anyone have this experience? The nurse said it could be some infection or due to the radiation.

Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 701 Likes: 1 | My husband is being followed by a pulmonologist for some inflammation in his lungs that showed up on a CT. They attribute it to aspiration of food and liquids when he eats. It eventually resolves. But due diligence has him seeing the lung doctor for follow ups. I hoping for a good outcome for you.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
