Matt's radiation will be complete this Friday for the met. bone growth. He's dropped more weight with the radiation side effects of nausea and no appetite. He's down to 194 now. (Last summer he was about 280 pre dx.) They got him back on anti-nausea and megace and today he couldn't wait to eat lunch! Thank God. I was getting very worried that he'd waste away.
Yesterday he was very fragile emotionally and it was hard to leave the house to come to work. We watched a movie last night cuddled up in bed to make up for it.
Thursday is the next chest CT to see if anything new has popped up lately. Results will follow the next week on the 9th. It is going to be a very long week of waiting.

It sure will be a long week - waiting really is from hell, but it sounds like you are a strong emotional support for him. We will await the results of the next CT - praying for good news for you. Hugs

Just a quick question, did the oral cancer metastize to the bone? My RO is concerned about that with my lower back pain. Is that possible?

Yes, they feel it is the same cancer that originated in his tonsil that spread to his lungs, and now to his pelvic bone.

Still no results, our appointment is for this Thursday though I called the nurse a few times Friday and she said she would call me with some results next week before the appt. We are just waiting.
I will be sure to update everyone as soon as I can.
Thanks for your prayers. Much appreciate it.

still no CT results, but the radiation doc scanned the pelvis today and the treatment worked beautifully, the growth is gone and no structural damage was suffered!
