Recently I visited my Oral Pathologist and she mentioned about a test which uses freezing liquid and the mouth will be numb . What kind of diagnosis test is this and is it a safe procedure ? I am little anxious about it , could it be some kind of surgery like incisional biopsy ?

If I were you I'd have one to be on the safe side nothing to it. By the time everything was said, 4 months later my little lump was growing from the side of my tongue to underneath near the arteries. Mine was also painless at the beginning, then pain and bleeding.
Don't wait any longer.

Since they didn't then either they were incompetent (doubtful) or they thought it was something "ordinary". Either way it should have been explained to you. I would call and get some clarification.
Were you referred to this specialist? Not many, if any, on this site start at such a specialized level.

It is situated on the side of the tongue and extends a little bit into the vessel which go along the side of the tongue (lateral border..not sure what the vessels are called) . I am worried about the procedure , since it uses freezing liquid and it will have to cut near the vessels.

We're all different, it became painful around the 3rd month.
If I were you and there is a lump get a biopsy, if your scared it doesn't hurt and you can't tell you had a biopsy. The surgeon only takes a small piece. Out of the whole ordeal the only thing that was painful was the tumor around the 3rd month.
Get the biopsy to ease your mind.
