I was so scared of that thing, although I do think I would have done fine with it the second time around, knowing what to expect. I've had a pretty good afternoon so far. Having a little trouble controling my pain because I hate using the Vicodin, it makes me loopy and puts me to sleep. I'm trying some extra strength tylenol so we'll see how that does. Might have to give in and use the vicodin for a few more days.
  Have a great Sunday! Minnie

That is fantastic news and so happy for you and your wonderful fmily. It's amazing to me, that as bad as it is, it's always more bearable when it's not as bad as we expected. Always think of you when I have an extra can of that nutrition stuff, that I don't really want. My family is amazed how my terrible wounds have healed so well, nutrition, nutrition, Minnie.
Best wishes and luck to all

Once I got over the worse part of the pain, probably about a week, I started just taking 1/2 Vicodin at night - it helped me sleep. During the day I took Ibuprofen (Advil). I know docs always seem to recommend the ES Tylenol but I don't think it does much for this kind of pain - and I have always found Ibuprofen to work much better. It can be a little hard on your stomach, try to take after food or liquid....
