Hi Jerry, trust me when I say that it took threats and calls from my sister in law lawyer and my brother who is a vp at dean whitter in Boston to call them repeatedly to get this accomplished. The new enrollment date for our insurance was Nov. 1st, which was to late. We got one lady who's mom had died of cancer and she teamed up with another broker who also lost his mother to cancer and they really helped us know what button to push. As of 3:00 today the change wasn't showing up in their computer system, so it still showed us as denied. My husband had had enogh by then and he called. Within the hour the president of our insurance company had called the president of John Hopkins to assure him that I would be covered. We;ll still owe huge amounts of money but nothing like we would have been looking at before this policy change. I'm heading to bed to get a few hours sleep before this surgery. Ball of fear is all I can call myself, but a ball of fear that is ready and prepared for this surgery.
Love to all,Minnie

Minnie--if I, as a pretty 'hopeless case' have had good news today, then this has to be an omen for you!
Your op was all I could think about when doc told me more than 50% shrinkeage!
I'm not superstitious, just 'some' spiritual and religious and am just so sure this has to be a sign!
