Brian, Gary, Members, and Guests,

In the last couple of days I may have let my emotions, enthusiasm, and temperment get the best of me. I owe everyone an apology for this. The behaviour during and especially after was never appropriate in any arena and especially here. It was unproductive, childlike and unprofessional especially the signature block.
Brian, you have worked way to hard for me not to apologize in and open forumn. I'm sorry. Your selfless efforts for all who come in contact in any way with OC, OCF and with the ADA, my equivalent to the CDA in the U.S., deserve much more than what I have offered in the last few days.

Gary, your knowledge, advice and compassion for OC and this site deserve thanks. I promise that in the future I will not take things peronally and respect advice and suggestion that you post without unprofessional and unproductive responses. Please accept my sincerest apology to you.

Members and Guests, you deserve more than what I recently exposed you to through my unprofessional posts and responses. I offer an open apology to you all.

To all who have sent me message and/or e-mails, thanks for the support. I really appreciate it. It was those responses and kind and some not so kind words that I felt I had to re-evaluate the situation from another perspective.

My opinion is that I have done a disservice to everyone and this site, I apologize to you all.

I will promise to conduct myself as you would expect a Dentist to behave.

I know I can do better to serve you all than my recent behaviour would suggest.

Please, Live, Laugh, Love and Learn!! (I just learned a whole lot about myself.)

My sincerest apologies,

Mike

Mike,

Personally I dont see where you need to apologize. You spoke your mind just as we all do. I am glad you are staying to try and help the ones here that you can help.

Billy

Isn't it strange how this disease brings out the full gamut of feelings? As you were Mike, and thank you for the great advice you have offered. The hardest part of a mistake is admitting it so lets move on.

Thanks Billy,

As a professional I have an obligation to provide accurate, unbiased, and relevant information in all public forumns including the internet. I am also supposed to be able to accept the opinions and criticisms of others and not let my emotions get the best of me. I got out of line in some of my responses and other areas (my signature line).

Take care,

Mike

Emmylou,
I never left, I had a tantrum (yes, that's how I'm referring to it to myself now.) I then stepped back and re-evaluated the situation after plenty of advice for both sides of the issue.
The result is what you see above (and it is the correct course of action) and my continued professional advice and support where I can be of assistance. ( I'll still try and throw a little humor in now and then. )

Stay well and thanks!!

Mike

Well Mike, you have proven that you are human, not a bad thing really. For the rest of us this is more helpful than having access to an impersonal "expert system".
I doubt that anyone here always expects answers that 100% beyond any criticism from any possible angle. If you aim for that you will end up doctoring your potential (!) posts.

As Bill and Billy said, lets move on.

Markus

Markus,

Pretty simple when someone says it like that my friend. That's what I realized and the reason why now more than ever Brian's mission and this site have become important to me.

I owe all of you my best.

Mike
