I am still going through radiation, and i only have 12 treatments left, and that thick nasty saliva i just cant seem to get rid off. Kinda wishing I had the dry mouth people talk of instead of thick saliva, but oh well. Hope that soon yours will tame down and eating will get easier for you. I know that before i started radiation, about 2 months after my surgery i could eat everything except for bread and peanut butter, so sadly, i had to stay away from those cuz they always got stuck to the roof of my mouth. But good luck, and sooner then you know it, things will get easier,

To keep food from sticking to teeth: Try gravy, mayo, ketchup, margarine, butter, dressing, etc. to help keep food from sticking to teeth. Also avoid dry turkey and white parts of chicken (esp cold), crackers and very soft bread without something on top. Sip a lot of liquid when eating. I use Bioteen PBF toothpaste and mouthwash and my dental hygenenist is very pleased that I have had good results.
