Peter,

Although I just had the radiotherapy, you are in good company on this site as we have many members who have had the same procedures as you just mentioned. The weight loss is also a big topic here as the treatments for this disease are so devastating to our eating habits.

Take a look at my signature line below and try filling one out in your profile with your treatments listed. This will help others here understand what you are dealing with.

Yep, losing weight is too easy now , but putting any back on seems to be impossible. Lost 70 lbs and 3 years later have only regained about 7. But what the heck, I'm alive and enjoying it very much. Good luck with everything. I would do just about anything for a decent meal tho. LOL with exceptions.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.

Peter - sorry that the stress is taking such a huge toll - I am relatively new to the OCF as well and have always had my questions answered and concerns addressed realistically but kindly by members who know what they're talking about. There are members who have researched all aspects of this disease and its treatment and have lived through it and are offering what they know to everyone. Please ask questions and share as much as you're comfortable disclosing - you won't be judged. At some point we've all been fearful to the core - if nothing else, it may make you feel better to just get it off your chest - it might help with the stress too. There's always someone on the forum who's listening. Beth/Scootersmom
