Although I just had the radiotherapy, you are in good company on this site as we have many members who have had the same procedures as you just mentioned. The weight loss is also a big topic here as the treatments for this disease are so devastating to our eating habits.

Lost 70 lbs and 3 years later have only regained about 7. But what the heck, I'm alive and enjoying it very much. Good luck with everything. I would do just about anything for a decent meal tho. LOL with exceptions.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April. --- Passed away 5/14/14, will be greatly missed by everyone here

There are members who have researched all aspects of this disease and its treatment and have lived through it and are offering what they know to everyone. Please ask questions and share as much as you're comfortable disclosing - you won't be judged. At some point we've all been fearful to the core - if nothing else, it may make you feel better to just get it off your chest - it might help with the stress too. There's always someone on the forum who's listening. Beth/Scootersmom
