Just getting back to work and I am experiencing alot of muscle and joint pain in my feet and legs. Not sure if this is from treatment or just cause I haven't been working and was wondering if anyone else might have some experience with this.
Thanks, Joe

Maybe someone else on the boards knows more about it. Maybe worth a trip to your m.o. or g.p. I'm sure it could also be the fact you havent worked in a while. Lets hope that's the case. Btw, congrats on the new job.

Lots of possibilities here. I have a lot of muscle pain issues -- some of which are attributable to post-radiation fibrosis, some to post-neck dissection issues, and some to limited exercise for a long time. I am three years out from treatment-- still do pretty much anything I want, but it is more difficult and painful.
I agree that you should check with your docs -- both your cancer team and your primary care physician. Cancer team isn't always terrific about late effects diagnosis and treatment. Can't tell what treatments you had, but any or all of these can have an impact. Exercise, physical therapy, massage are all possible modalities to help.
Good luck!

It is a known side result of Chemo, especially cisplatin. It was way worse shortly after tx was over. now at about 8 months it is only a little nusance, lie my taste buds beunf so off, It is more pronounced when I run.. There are drugs that are available. I do agree with the other polsters, talk to our Doc.
