Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.

Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 128 | I had a tube placed in my right ear about 8 weeks after radiation was completed. What a difference it has made for me. It is still in there, according to my ENT. I wear hearing aids, prior to radiation, and I can hear much better in the ear that has the tube.

Two years down as of 3/30/2011!
