I wonder if George knows about OCF.

Marginal mandibulectomy 6/17/08 resulted in DX of Stage I SCC - gingiva (3 mm) right mandible, buccal side. Clear margins. Occasional social drinker. Smoked last cigarette in 1979. Clear pet: 12/08; 7/20/09. Yay!

A friend of mine, he went to school with my nephew, plays for the Nuggets, I am in the process of getting in touch with my friends wife to pursue getting the NBA involved with OCF. I originally wanted to get the players involved in some events to help support the coach. Malik Allen is my friend and he currently plays for the team. So I will keep you posted on any progress.

He has started to miss some home games so my guess is "the dragon" has gotten in a few good licks. When I first heard about his diagnosis (and I know everybody's different) he had stated that he hoped to be back and close to 100% by the playoffs. I hope he is but that is an awfully lofty (some would say wildy unrealistic) goal.
