Today we are not going to remove the lump but just do a biopsy of it in a few different places. However because it's in quite a difficult place to get to if we do need to remove it at a later date you will need major surgery - which freeked me out a bit. After the operation he came up to me and said that everything looks fine and couldn't see anything suspicious but obviously still needed to check. He said the biopsy results will take two weeks to come back from the pathology lab, thanks to everyone for support and will keep you posted, Best WWishes, Dave.

Now is that long wait for results, which we all HATE but I'll pray that your results will be good Let us know as soon as you get them. Regards, julieann

I can't understand how he can see that it's ok but hasn't got the biopsy results yet. I'm not sure if he was just trying to make me feel better or not because only the biopsy results will confirm that diagnosis. I asked him if it's not cancerous what is it? He just said I dont know. All the uncertainty is soooo stressful isn't it? On the discharge letter it also says consider re scan in two to three months so am not sure why they've put that on if they don't even know what it is yet?
Time will tell!!
Dave.
