Hi everyone,

My husband had his second visit with his MO today, and the Dr. said that he changed his mind on the treatment plan. Instead of the Cisplatin and the 5FU, he wants to go with Erbitux. His reasoning was that "it is lower in toxicity" than the Cisplatin.

Can anyone help me understand the difference between Erbitux and Cisplatin, and why Erbitux might be a better choice for some people?

Thanks!

Laurie
