Well its now three years since i sat in the wee small hours and penned my first post on the forum. My heart swells with affection for the many friends i have made who lived and survive to stay here and help other new members ,there are so many success stories. But of course my mind floats through the ones who battled with Robin and have left us.Some who just moved on after sucessful treatment and too many who have joined him.My biggest disappointment is that the numbers never get any less despite the trojan efforts of our dedicated leader and his team and this heinous disease is still tearing lives apart with its cruel nuances.
I was greatly heartened to see the latest anti alcohol campaign showing on TV in the Uk now includes mouth cancer as a possible result of alcohol abuse.
To all of you who like myself have made awareness our lifes work, god bless ,and to our ever changing family..good luck.Lets try and keep that ever growing membership number down this year.

Love to you all
liz

Liz,

You are so good at putting your thoughts on paper. I have been following your posts since the beginning of your and Robins battle with this horrible disease. You are an amazing woman and we are so lucky to have you here at OCF. I am sure that Robin is smiling down and so proud of his wonderful wife.

Love,

Shelley

We are all proud of what you do for the OCF and for public awareness.

I think this is a great opportunity to thank the many caregivers that stay on after losing their loved ones to help support all those going through this terrible disease.

My hat is off to all of you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
