In addition to FB, I also sent an email to my list of contacts asking them to forward to their friends and family. I am getting responses already. I believe OCF CAN WIN THIS!!

Eileen

Thanks to Catherine's tip, maybe the problem is Internet Explorer. I always use Mozilla Firefox as a browser - the price is right: free and it's much more stable than IE.
Good luck in registering.

Catherine I do have a decent number of friends...but I'm picky who I accept on my friends list so the ones that are on there are either Family, OCF people (who I never reject) or are just really close friends.

A few of my friends though have massive friends lists, so I picked out some of the ones with the highest counts and sent them private emails asking for their help in getting the word out and voting. I figure I'll work from the highest to the lowest but send out personal messages to all of my friends throughout the month. This ensures I touch base with them all and not kill them with spam...but get across in a personal way how much it means to me and how they can make a difference with a few touches of a keyboard and clicks of a mouse.

I don't think the problem is with internet Explorer. I tried several more times during the work day from my office computer and it looped every time. Maybe someone is blocking it during the day or maybe some software on my machine is blocking it.

Anyway, when I tried it from home tonight at 9:00 pm, I got in with no problem. Now will I be able to vote from office computer tomorrow? Can my husband vote from this computer with a different email address?

Take care,
Eileen

Don't know about your office, but my husband and I used the same computer with our different email addresses.

Okay OCF members, it's another day, so time to vote again.
I just did and we dropped one to #28. We need to be #2 to win this money, but the month is still young.
Eileen: glad you got on the Pepsi site. The Pepsi rules do not prohibit using the same computer by different people, they just define as "fraudulent" the same person using different email addresses or registering more than once in order to vote more than once a day. Just like a real election, you only get one vote, even if you own two or more houses in the city.

We were #27, now we are #28. I thought you might like to see who is now in spot 27 for the 250K.

OK, I think I just voted from my office computer. It came back and said FOR SURE and something about PROMOTE with FB etc options. I hope I didn't have to do anything more.

Take care,
Eileen
