Can anyone recommend an online group, or has anyone had luck with a local cancer society group? I have found one online group that I have enjoyed being part of: Cancer Care Online... but I would like to find something more.
Thank you in advance.

Gilda's Club has many support groups within each chapter. There is one in the DC area. You can go to www.gildasclubgreaterwashington.org to see if they have what you are looking for. Last summer, I went to Gilda's Club in New Jersey. Great bunch of people. Many hospitals offer bereavement groups as well. Take care of yourself. Anita

Thanks for the suggestion, Cookey! My mother wasn't in hospice, so I didn't think to contact them. I called my local hospice and immediately signed up for a group of adults that have lost a parent to cancer.
