Hi I was just wondering if anyone on here has been treated by VA. I am curious as to how it is done thru the VA. I am going in a couple of weeks and I need a scan ct or pet, but i was just wondering how its done. Before when I was treated at civilian hospital it was a team approach but my ENT was my primary doctor. Just wanting to get an idea before I go.

Thanks
Joe

I have no idea how this is done, but the VA hospital In Pittsburgh is very good for just about everything. But it is located right beside the University of Pittsburgh Hospital a world known Hospital and they have them close by to help if needed. I was at the Va Clinic today.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
--- Passed away 5/14/14, will be greatly missed by everyone here

You might just need to relax yourself for that kind of treatment. Maybe you just need a good medical hospital for your confidence. It could be better for you to ask some friends for their idea for the VA.
