Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 212 | Hi Folks, doing pretty good these days. I had my PEG removed a week ago, there is still a bit of drainage, just a bit when I cover it at night. Does this sound normal?

Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 31 | Had mine out 12/ 23/2009. Minimal drainage for two days. Nurse told me not to put any anti-biotic of any kind on the peg site until it healed. Stated antibiotics would kill bacteria necessary for healing and lead to a yeast infection. Said little white dots indicate a yeast infection. My peg area was very raw from stomach acid.
