Joined: May 2007 Posts: 104 | My daughter is in the process of being diagnosed for possible residual tumor vs. necrotic tissue. We are trying to organize thoughts and possibilities. Potential surgery and further radiation are considerations. She has already had 35 IMRT treatments, so we know radiation will be a concern. Thanks!

I'm sorry. That's just like me, open mouth, insert foot. :rolleyes: I did not realize the difference until I looked at it and thought of myself. My initials are PTB.
I searched myself and found that much more information popped up when I typed in proton beam therapy, instead of PBT.
