Okay, heads up OCF posters. I have written and discarded several drafts in response to Brian's suggestion of coordinating a patient's perspective on swallowing. You can read all about it in the swallowing poll thread here on this forum
I was struck by this quote in my horoscope today and it will be included in my draft. Please start digging up your favorite quotes, comments, insights on swallowing. It doesn't matter if they were yours or something you read. I am looking for clever and funny comments and this is the place for them (example, Hotel CAncer was a classic post)
The nominations are open -

Charm,

An old proverb says "One swallow does not make a summer". I'm sure there are some who'd say one swallow would certainly make their day.

Luckily (knocking wood), I am among the swallowing population (still in induction chemo phase - it's not the swallowing, but making sure it stays swallowed I worry about). I read your request for quotes, did a search on the net, and the proverb caught my eye.

I recall reading quite a few things here that I thought at the time were noteworthy (but didn't make note). Maybe I'll have another browse. I'm sure you'll get lots of quotes from people who actually retain most of what they read, instead of devouring it, and moving on to the next item. I think there are a lot of people like me here, reading as much as they can on whatever topic they're looking into at the moment, then moving on to the next subject.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."
