It's coming to a close now and we have dropped to #25 with just 24 donations. At first I thought it might have been just bad luck to have picked a busy day, but in checking out their web site I see we would not have placed even for the $500 any of the days in October.
Still THANK YOU to the 24 others who did donate.

Not that it makes any difference at this point, but when I went to check the site just before the starting time of 3 PM yesterday, there were already donations posted to OCF. Unfortunately, they were credited to the Sunday to Monday contest. Apparently, some people donated before 3 PM.

I mention this only because if we try again, everyone has to watch the time. The site tells how much time is left.

Thank you to everyone who donated to OCF in America's Giving Challenge. Although we did not win the highest daily number of donations, we did receive enough donations to cover the cost of purchasing a screening device that we will soon donate to a free clinic in an under served population part of the country. Thanks to those of you who chipped in to make this possible, and for helping us reach a meaningful goal.
