I hope this link to the NY Times works. It shows the progress of the distribution of Gardasil in some states.

That editorial is dated Feb. 6, four days after Texas Gov. Rick Perry signed an executive order requiring the vaccine for all girls entering middle school.

A huge protest resulted in the legislature subsequently passing a bill that stopped Perry's order from being implemented.

April 2006: Husband dx by dentist with leukoplakia on tongue. Oral surgeon's biopsy 4/28/06: Moderate dysplasia; pathology report warned of possible "skip effect." ENT's excisional biopsy (got it all) 5/31/06: SCC in situ/small bit superficially invasive. Early detection saves lives.
