I was worried about Travis leaving you alone quite yet, and it seems that the Big Guy knew you needed him at home a little longer. I'm betting that Travis is relieved too, not to have to leave you when you still need help at home. You can be really proud of your son!! I hope each day is better than the last! XO--Colleen

I'm also glad that Travis' boot camp has been delayed. That's good for both of you! I know that you could recouperate by yourself, but it will be so much easier with him there to help.

I type a long one and the computer weasels at it before I could send it. When Travis answered the telephone this evening when I called you, he sounde so mature after all he has gone thru with his fantastic mother. He is quite the young man and the Marines should be glad to have him as one of them.As for you young lady, you sounded fantastic too and your words were crystal clear. You are one tough lady. I am proud to say I know Christine Brader and she is my buddy for life. You are one that deserves the name LADY or MAM. No one deserves them more. I am looking forward to the day we go have our steak dinner and can talk across the table and not the internet. Thanks for being so nice and such an intelligent lady. God gave you the best of everything. Your Buddy for life,, Jim

God does work in mysterious ways. Funny, cuz my husband, who rarely comes in here, asked me in the car a couple days ago, "how is that lady in OCF?" I knew he was talking about you because he read the Facebook entries come thru our regular email. I think he was happy to hear me say you just got home, as we all are! If I remember, you and he share an Oct. 1 birthday too. Welcome home, dear lady!

I'm also glad that you're son is able to stay a little longer with you. If his girlfriend would like an online group for military support, there are some really good ones that I can direct her to.
Always thinking of you and I hope you get back to feeling better real soon.

She said she feels OK and has plenty of help right now. Travis and his girlfriend as well as her daughter were there.
I was going to try to visit tomorrow, but I still have a lingering cough and sniffles and the last thing I want to do is give her a cold.
Travis will be around until the middle of November. Great news.
