Joined: May 2009 Posts: 114 | Didn't find what I am seeing on the insde of my cheek close the the gum line. I am getting these painful blisters that look like clear glass swellings of water. They hurt and get bigger over the course of the day then I guess they break. I have had two. One (from last week) looks like a little white collar around pink flesh where the break ocurred. They burn in this state.
The second one is actualy mostly invisible but I see a little swelling that is whitish as described above for the week old one.
Everything seems so important that occurs in my mouth...

Age 52, T2 N0 M0 SCC of left anterior floor of mouth. Esophagoscopy, Direct laryngoscopy, Resection of left anterior FOM lesion w/ lateral tongue. left selective neck dissection levels I-IV. 5x6cm skin graft coverng excision. Finished 33-35 rad Tx. False recurrence 12-22-10 last surgery 2-15-10

Joined: May 2009 Posts: 114 | Got a answer fron the radiation docs. Metal fillings in my mouth are still "hot" and radiation is deflecting off of them.
The blisters ocur inside of cheek where it rests near a metal fillng.

The lining of the mouth has thousands of these small moisture producing little glands and sometime some of them get backed up/clogged forming these little clear blisters. They eventually rupture and go away in a day or two.
