I got a chance to me another survivor today at UPMC. He was interested in OCF so I told him how to find it. Nice guy but kind of tiny. The guy that drove him has problems too with his gumd so they are both going to check us out for sure.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
--- Passed away 5/14/14, will be greatly missed by everyone here

I am doing fine except for that laying still for so long LOL.. Like a 5 yr old told not to move but lay quietly. Lots of driving for sure but not bad at all.

Patty!! Me a squirmer?? LOL I'll never tell . The nurse I had today came to the chamber and made my day. LOL She said it's about time we got a good looking guy in that thing to look at. Now that is a woman after my heart. Now that made me squirm.

Jim,

Glad things are finally going well for you.

BTW, how many miles is it going the other way?

Jerry,, it might be 25 mile shorter the other way but it takes quite a bit more time because of the construction and wrecks. Mostly Semi's that have inexperienced drivers and this the have wings on them and not wheels.. Going the way I am now has just 3 traffic lights and is like an interstate. When the traffic is normal, this other way only takes 1 1/2 hrs approx. but last Friday it took 4 hrs. the longer way takes about 1 hr 40 minutes. Thanks for the nice words Angelia.
