I received an email from Pandora (Donna Butcher) our OCF friend up in Canada. For those who didn't know, Donna supported the David Nasto walk by walking the 3.5 miles in her hometown on the day of the walk. She just informed me that she raised $777 in sponsorships for the walk!

I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart! She is an unbelievable person and I wanted everyone to know what an effort she put out for the walk and our foundation.

She wanted to be a part of our event but obviously due to the distance, she was unable so she took it upon herself to get sponsorships and walk on her own.

This is a fantastic thing for people to do if they are unable to make an event.

Hats off to you Donna! You are the best!!

With my gratitude, Susan

Well Susan - now you are making me blush! I didn't do anything special - YOU are the one who organized and did all the work - all I did was participate, and was happy to do so.

You have truly honoured your brother in an inspirational way, and along the way you have undoubtedly saved a life or two by increasing the awareness of this disease.

Congrats to YOU.

It's a great shirt and I wore mine to the Gym Sunday morning.

After that 4 mile walk, I couldn't get much done at the gym, however.

Hi Donna, so glad you got the shirt!! I will be mailing one to your husband as well. So glad we got the right address, wonder where the other stuff is???? Thanks again for everything!!!

Jerry, I think I scarred you for life with that 4 mile walk! My mother is still recuperating!! I promise I will make it only 3 miles next year with little hills!!

Take care!!

Trying to figure out how you'll get those hills leveled out. It is North Jersey, you know.

Don't worry about me, the shin splints and callouses will heal.

It was great!!

I thought the "hills" in North Jersey were mild - merely bumps in the road where some mafia associate corpse has been paved over!!!

Poor Jerry, but as they say in Canada "suck it up buttercup - you'll live"
