A goodhumorectomy... now that's a surgery I hope they never invent!!! Hang in there Jim. The tubes ought to make your ears feel better and I'm glad they won't be putting you under twice in one week. Good thoughts and lots of prayers will be going up -and I'm sure your angels will hear. My husband is going backwards in years - gets a year younger w/every b'day. I'll be going thru my second childhood the same time he gets back to his first...LOL!!! Take care - we're here.

If I did that I'd have a couple of doctors I could get rich off of...LOL. Back to reality... the "fun" time will be at my house tonight when I get to have my new grandson over for his first overnight stay at his Grammy's house. Hope I can get a little sleep. I just love being a new grandma!!! Been waiting a long time for a grandchild... but I'd never tell my kids that. Glad to have given you a laugh, Jim - take care
This fantastic mucous instead of becoming less, is worse than ever. Hell, it even makes it difficult for morning coffee . It seems the hot coffee must loosen it up to let it become a hindurance.
This may sound weird, but, if you like dill pickles, then you might enjoy sipping on pickle juice. I sipped on it the entire time I was going through treatments to keep my swallowing muscles in shape. It tasted great to me! I still sip on it sometimes when I get a craving for it. It really helps to cut the mucous.

Nine years out. New normal with limitations, but surviving and living life to the fullest.
