Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 718 | Cecilia is taking the lead on collecting money for Christine's flowers. She is using paypal. I just made my donation and it was very easy. Cecilia sent out a message on Facebook with instructions, if you did not receive that let Cecilia or me know and one of us will email you the instructions. I'd list them here, but I don't know if Cecilia wants her email listed publicly. It sounds like she can't have flowers in the ICU and Travis is checking on the possibility of sending flowers to her when she is transferred to the burn unit. If we can't send them to either place based on hospital restrictions, then we can send them to her home when she goes home to recover. I am sure she will LOVE getting flowers and she will be honored to realize that so many people want to participate. I'm sure she will enjoy cards as well!

Tx 6/18 - 8/3/07, IMRT x 33 Cisplatin x3 (stopped after 1st dose due to hearing issues). Weekly Erbitux started 6/27/07 completed 8/6/07.

Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis. SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05. Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.

40 yr old. Stage IV SCC found left tonsil. PET/CT shows cancer on base of tongue, floor of mouth, lymph nodes on both sides. HPV 16 pos. 6 weeks of cisplatin, 43 days of radiation. 73gy on each side.

You need an email address, a house address and a bank account or credit card.
You need to register and chose a password, make sure your password is different from that of your email provider.
Then you just fill in the details on the form and that's it! It works like a intermediate account so that if you want to pay something no one see your account details, they just see your email address.
it's useful fro buying stuff on ebay as well.
