It was also the first time he had to use any prescription pain-killers which he generally doesn't take. He said it was a lot more uncomfortable than the neck disection and all the scoping they did at the time. You will be very thankful he had one put in. Even with the PEG in my husband lost 30 lbs. and is struggling to regain any weight. He is currently 14 weeks out of treatments.
