Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 3,552 | More than likely you have a sore on the side of your tongue that is rubbing on a tooth. That happened to me and it hurt like hell. Look closely and you may see a white blister like looking thing on the side of your tongue. Other than "pink magic" or "magic mouthwash" there is not really much you can do about it except wait it out. Mine took a long time to heal as I recall.
