Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 8 | Ive had thrush several times. Usually after taking an antibiotic. My diet is also very high in yogurt which should help to counter-balance the antibiotic.
When I get thrush it is a matter of hours from when I feel the first little tingle of something not being right in my mouth. Specifically, my tongue tingles a little and starts to ache. Within 2 hours it will be coated white and be very sore. My doctor has given me Mycelex tablets that dissolve in your mouth. They even work with someone who suffers from dry mouth.
