Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | Dr appt. yesterday. I got the usual hugs and questons from the Drs staff and then went to the room to wait. The Dr came in with his usual Hey Jim, how are you doing.Then he checked my mouth and said your tongue is healed. Then he told me that him and the surgeon are trying to figure out a way to get rid of the pain or control it better. He gave me a week free and a script for Lyrica to try. I see the surgeon this afternoon for his update and opinion. Have a great day all.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
