Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | I have a very close friend that just beat pancreatic cancer, Maybe you read my post about a 20 yr old that died while eating in a restaurant in Pittsburgh. The lady that beat the cancer is her grandmother. I know this is a rare case, b ut this in one that did it. Heck they thought I was dieing too. but here I sit and enjoying my life 100%. One never knows but you can turn the odds in your favor with positive thoughts and discard any negatives.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
