Sharlee......I agree with David....You will surprise yourself. Of course, you have no choice, and you will soon stop resisting and commit yourself to the "project at hand," which is YOU and your health and doing whatever is necessary. Is this the way you had envisioned 2007 going for you? Of course not, but then, nobody knows what any day will bring. This is your project for now, so invest all your energy into it, and you will do great! You can pick up where you left off before you know it. Will life be exactly the same? Of course not. It might be even better! Look for the blessings in the experience. They are there.
