Thank you everyone for the needed information you have given. I guess I'm fortunate, stage 1, no chemo or surgery & they say 90+% total recovery. I'm reading horror experiences on this site - things people are going through, what strength & courage on the parts of the patients & caregivers.

I'm eating as much as I can, have managed to gain a few pounds. I'm 5'5" & with the weight gain am 110. I'm terrified of the radiation & like everyone else wonder if I will ever be the same person again - my guess is 'no' but that doesn't have to be negative? Maybe I can learn something from this that will help other people - like you all are doing.
