Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 8 | Hi Karen. I have severe trismus with only having my mouth open at max almost a pinky finger wide. Eating is a big challenge. Consider yourself very very fortunate to be able to open 2 fingers wide. That is my goal thru much physical therapy to get to that level. You will see progress if you do stretching exercises several times daily with the therabite or tongue depressors. Best of luck with this issue.
