So I got the excisional biopsy done on March 24th and got the results back yesterday- NO CANCER! Showed moderate dysplasia and he wants me back in 3 months to recheck and diligent follow up for a while after that I presume. My tongue is still healing so I won't be able to see a darn thing for a few weeks he said but of course I will be watching that area closely for any changes.
I hope that I will not need to be back on this site but if I do I know a lot more than I did when this started. I will keep you all posted!
