Cookey, I spoke with my Mom last night. She has an appointment w/the surgeon this morning and then to the hospital for some pre-surgery stuff. She told me they will be doing a lymphectomy and a right radical neck dissection. In your explanation of what a neck dissection entailed you mentioned that in a radical one, they removed the jugular vein... how do they do that I thought that was something you had to have??? Don't mean to sound stupid but....
