Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 8,311 | I spent the day with my RO from Moffitt today and he told me this...Sometime this summer Moffitt will have operational a new radiation machine that will SLASH, with a CAPITAL S, the table time for radiation delivery. For example, he told me that where as my radiation sessions took 15 to 20 minutes (without measurements), this new machine will deliver the same fractional dose with as much or greater accuracy and flexibility in appx 1 MINUTE. It will also give the operators a computer scan every day so they can adjust to changes with much more frequency and accuracy eliminating those measurement days. This new machine will be aptly called RAPID RT.

Jun 07, back to riding my bike 100 miles a wk. Now doing 12 Spin classes and 60 outdoor miles per wk. Nov 13 completed Hilly Century ride for Cancer, 104 miles, 1st Place in my age group. Apr 2014 & 15, Spun for 9 straight hrs to raise $$ for YMCA's Livestrong Program. Certified Spin Instructor Jun 2014.
