The Oral Cancer Foundation does not have a ribbon color. SPOHNC came up with that one several years ago, and I have already posted my opinions here several times about ribbons and the thousands of unknown varieties that already existed out there. So that ribbon color combination was cooked up by Nancy at their organization, and not OCF. They call it an oral cancer ribbion (not one dedicated to their organization), but I don't know of any head and neck or oral cancer organizations that have adopted her idea. Likek I said in previous posts there are over 2700 disease, cause etc. registed ribbon colors out there, and I think that putting any effort into this idea is a waste of time and money. No one is going to know what it is, and the impact of wearing it will be nil.
