Di-It was important for me to go with my husband to all of his appointments. Very often he wouldn't remember much of what the doctor said. I used this site often to get the best info to ask the doctors about and felt so much more informed. I've had some of the best discussions with the doctors armed with the info-some even told me that the internet was a pretty good source of information. Also I found it helpful to go directly to the website of any of the drugs he was given. They have a much more inclusive list of side effects. cg to husband, 48 Stage 1V head and neck SCC. First surgery 9/07. Radiation and several rounds of chemo followed. Mets to chest and lungs. "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain." Went home to God on February 22, 2009.
